Charlotte and Rhodri came from England to marry in Mallorca, and they chose Jardines de Alfabia, a finca known across the island for its gardens and for the extraordinary stonework that holds them.
They were themselves the whole day. No performance, no preoccupation with how any of it looked. They wanted to enjoy it, and everyone around them followed that lead.

A ceremony in the Alfabia clastra
The ceremony took place in the clastra, and at one point the entire room sang a Beatles song together: guests, family, the two of them, all of it at once. Afterwards, cocktails were served under the palm trees, in the shade of the gardens, before the celebration moved to dinner.

Long tables dressed with figs and peaches
The tables were something else. Long, communal, dressed with seasonal fruit (figs, peaches, grapes) laid out across the whole length of them. It looked less like decoration and more like abundance, the kind of table you don't want to leave.
A live band in the gardens
The party started in the garden with a live band that lifted the whole evening, then carried on into the night at the disco. One hundred and twenty guests, and not one of them sitting down.
